The PQD is exactly the type of pen you'd expect from Bill Koenig. Its straightforward click mechanism pushes the plunger through a ring of bearings, locking it securely into place. To retract, simply push upward on the pocket clip, or place it back into a pocket, purse, pouch, or bag, and the clipping action automatically retracts the nib. This is an incredible design from one of the best in the business.
