The hard-working Bailout family of tactical folders has long been revered for its no-holds-barred ability to balance strength and durability with a slim, ultralight build for quickness and comfort through tough tasks, making it just as impressive as a daily carry tool as it is in the field. The 537BK-07 Bailout and serrated-edge counterpart 537SBK-07 Bailout introduce amplified toughness to this impressive design. Enhanced with a wear-and-corrosion-resistant CPM-MagnaCut tanto blade with a DLC Battlewash finish, these new workhorse variants are finished off with sturdy, diamond-textured Burnt Copper anodized aluminum handle scales and black oxide hardware.

Differing from the drop-point blades of the traditional Bugout models, the 537's blade mimics a Japanese profile tanto, as opposed to the tanto Benchmade has used on models like the Griptillian, AFO II, and Barrage that sport a straight belly and crisp primary bevel. This design was influenced by a desire to embolden the tip strength of the blade while maintaining superior slicing performance.

Battle-Ready Beauty — Magnacut Muscle in a Stunning Frame
This Bailout is nothing short of exceptional. The burnt copper aluminum scales with their clean, aggressive milling are absolutely beautiful — better executed than the 940 variant from last year, in my opinion. Paired with the Battlewash Magnacut blade, this thing looks like it came straight from the battlefield but belongs in a display case. It was razor sharp right out of the box and has that unmistakable “ready to work” feel in hand.This isn’t just an EDC — it’s a man’s knife. Tough, confidence-inspiring, and built to be used. I own several Bailouts across various steels and scale types, but this one immediately took center stage. It’s the perfect blend of function and form. Worth every penny — and one I’ll be carrying for years to come!
