Benchmade Knives

When you're going the distance, you need a knife that will do the same. Inspired by—and built for—tactical situations, the Bailout takes ultralight power to its maximum potential. Boasting a diamond-textured, anodized aluminum handle and CPM-M4 blade steel in a tanto profile, this svelte pocket tool achieves an optimal strength-to-weight ratio that makes it suitable for hard use and everyday carry in equal measure. This starkly-contrasting Crater Blue handle and Flat Dark Earth blade combo will turn heads.

Another hit
Thin, light, surprisingly great blade profile, excellent steel, feels great in the hand, I could go on. It's my first tanto and I was surprised how pierce-y it is. Came pretty sharp from the factory, not insanely sharp but sharp enough. Under 3 oz and pretty thin. Looks great in person, feels quality, great action. It's a pretty large blade without feeling like you're lugging around a monster. Love it.

Beautiful EDC
It's a gorgeous, slicey, somewhat tough knife. And of course true to the "-out" family, it's very thin+light. No real complaints from me here. One thing I will warn is that the blade is not as big as it can look in some pictures. While the handle is substantially longer and more comfortable than the Bugout handle, the blades are actually almost the same size i.e quite slender and relatively "polite EDC" sized. The Bailout blade being a little longer, the Bugout blade being a little taller. This came as somewhat of a surprise to me, as in pictures the Bailout just seemed bigger overall. I think this is just a common thing with assessing knives online though. Anyway if you are looking for a tactical ninja dagger, you may be disappointed. The Bailout is, ultimately, a sleek pocket knife and probably something you could use in public without terrifying people. The Crater Blue + FDE work extremely well here too, in a way that is difficult to describe, but you will definitely understand in person!
