Don Hethcoat is one of KnifeCenter's favorite designers. He produces wonderful custom knives in New Mexico and these Boker models reflect his excellent design sense. New Mexico custom knifemaker Don Hethcoat provided Boker with this stout and formidable stag fixed blade, the Cowboy Crossdraw. The upswept blade of 440C stainless steel provides all the punch needed for everyday work chores, as well as providing an excellent skinning knife. The unique leather sheath, with sewn-in magnet, is worn to enable quick draw.
Stag Handles
Naturally dropped deer antlers are used to create a natural rugged look and feel. Antler from the Axis and Sambar deer in India are renowned for their density and are therefore most commonly used for knife scales.
440C Stainless Steel
High end stainless steel with a high resistance to corrosion and will sharpen to a razor edge.
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.

Boker Plus Cowboy Crossdraw Fixed 3.25" Blade, Stag Handles, Don Hethcoat Design, Leather Sheath
This knife is very sharp, light but strong, well built, easy to carry and quite handy. It has a permanent place on my belt when go to the tree farm to work or hunt. The cross draw sheath is very easy to access and the knife stays snug in its sheath until it's needed. The cross draw set up grows in convenience as you put on more clothing layers in the winter. And, if you're riding in an ATV or sitting in a duck blind, the cross draw is more comfortable and convenient to wear than leaning up against stuff attached to the back of your belt or having to dig something out of your pocket. Also, this knife loves to work from utility tasks to cleaning game. Great little knife!
