Pros: Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Feel
Great Knife for the Money
Another great knife from Buck. If you're looking for a nice-looking, high-quality knife that isn't going to break the bank (**benchmade** cough cough), this one is a great option. It did feel a bit heavy in my hands for the size, but that is after using the 285 for a while, which is an extremely lightweight, larger option of a folding knife. Also that metallic, light silver portion on one of the scales is fairly sparkly, but it is labeled as a 'gentleman's knife', so I'd recommend not pulling it out after your james bond steak dinner with your hot side piece, unless you want some extra attention from the bad guys who take notice your awesome knife. In all seriousness, great option for someone learning how to use a knife, or just those looking to have something that doesn't look bro-tactical.

Great bang for the buck
This is a nice knife for the money. It's not assisted opening, but the thumb stud does make opening it really easy. The blade is fairly sharp out of the box, and with just a little work it can be made REALLY sharp. My blade isn't *perfectly* flat/straight tho, if you look along the edge you can see that it has a slight bow to it. But it's not major, doesn't hurt it's performance, and I didn't notice it until after I'd had the knife for several months. It's a great size for normal EDC. Would be nice if the handle could be re-positioned though for tip-up carry.

I wanted to provide a comfortably sized daily-use knife to my son as a gift - this one looks great and fits the bill to the T!
