Great little knife. I own the tru sharp and the ss models. The cv is unquestionably the sharpest, but not necessarily the better of the two. Here's why. I live in South Florida where it is very hot and wet most of the time. The cv literally rusts daily just riding in my pocket. I clean, oil and love it daily and dearly, but find it more practical to carry it cooler, dryer months. I bought the ss model to carry during the summer. I have plenty of knives to choose from but always keep a peanut in my rotation because it is both non threatening, and capable of doing jobs way beyond its size. I dont pry, drive screws, or do other things that you shouldnt do with a knife. If you need to do those things get a SAK or leatherman. The peanut is an excellent edc cutting tool.

There's a reason Peanut owners call it "One of my favorites"
When I was first married in the mid-70's a Peanut was my EDC knife. As I became a home owner (in the country) and learned to do more and more things well, I felt the need for a more versatile knife, and switched to a Medium Stockman, which is still my EDC knife. But "once a Peanut owner . . ." This is now my "suit and tie" pocketknife. But it's size belies what it's capable of. Superbly well made, with excellent half-stops on both blades, and the most satisfying "snap" you ever heard on closing them, this little doobie emerges as a truly versatile knife, beyond what it's diminutive size suggests. Unlike many, I actually prefer Cases' "Tru-Sharp" (440HC) blade steel, as once a good edge is put on it (and it is from the factory) a quick steeling at the end of every day you use it KEEPS it that way. I have read that their handle synthetic is both Delrin and Zytel - I honestly don't know which this is, but no worry there: Both are *excellent* synthetic handle materials. A wonderful little knife, and a tribute to "American Made". I just know I'll be ordering one of these eventually in a dark jigged bone or stage handle, too!

Good Small Tool
Very sharp blade, handy compact design. Better for smaller hands.
