An Honor to Have in the Library
Having started with knives in the woods as a boy it has often been noticed that all the greatest woodsmen show a humble respect to nature and are always beginners even within great knowledge. One could miss the greatness of this "Outdoors" book that Casstrom has engaged Mr Falt to accomplish if they are unaware of the innocent foundation of such knowledge. While portions may contain basic education, there are many gems tucked here and there as is often the way of such enriching material.

Don't bother buying this.
There seems to be a theme with books written by Lars Falt. THERE ARE EXTREMELY BASIC IN NATURE AND CONTENT. Maybe that's why there are no reviews on these two books. No one buys them. I bought two of his books and they are both ultra basic in the information base as is this one. The other book I purchased is "Outdoors the Scandinavian Way-Using a Knife". While this book does have some helpful info (very little for a seasoned knife user), it is way too basic for the average adult that has actually used a knife and who has spent any time outdoors. IMHO...........This was written for a third to sixth grader wanting to go on his first woods outing. I'm not kidding. This book is intended for a juvenile child. Way too basic for any adult that has picked up a knife. Total waste of money. Don't bother buying it unless you have kids. Very disappointed in both books.
