If you are looking for a very sturdy bushcraft folding knife to carry in your pocket, look no further than this lockback folder from Casström developed together with renowned wilderness and survival expert Lars Fält. The 3" blade is made from 14C28N steel with a Scandinavian grind which allows for easy carving and sharpening. The handle slabs are made of select, beautiful, fine curly birch which is normally found on its fixed blade counterparts. The curly birch slabs feel seamless against the brass pins, lockback liners, and they provide a great grip while in the hand.

Designed to be convenient and reliable to carry in the wilderness, the Lars Falt folder will please the most discerning bushcraft enthusiast. With its closed length of 4.25" and weighing only 3.8 oz., you will hardly notice that you're carrying a knife at all. A leather thong allows you to reach in your pocket and easily pull it out for use. The blade tension can be easily adjusted with a flathead screwdriver or whatever you have in the wilderness if need be.

About Lars Fält

A living legend among Swedish survival and outdoor fans, Lars has published many books on this subject. Lars Fält founded the Swedish Armed Forces Survival School and was in charge there for many years. He has extensive experience as an instructor in the Swedish paratroopers and is a trained survival instructor at English SAS and the US Special Forces. He has also participated as an instructor in foreign relations from Arctic Canada to desert areas in Australia.

Casstrom Lars Felt lockback knife
This is a beautifully made, very sturdy feeling knife. It comes from the factory quite sharp for its intended use. It is now primarily used on fly fishing trips and for yard work - not exactly bushcraft but the high performance is much appreciated. The knife exceeded my expectations despite watching many videos- some of which showed hard usage normally associated with a much heavier duty fixed blade knife. The extra cost leather sheath is also very high quality and well worth the price. Highly recommended.
