In response to the popularity of the Dragon King Modern Series and the growing demand for bo-hi versions, Cas Iberia is proud to introduce the next generation of this iconic collection. This new series of katana, wakizashi, and tanto retains all the specifications of its predecessors while adding a striking dragon motif, offering a modern twist on a classic design.
The Dragon King Modern Series embodies a contemporary vision of the Samurai, combining cutting-edge materials with low maintenance for today’s urban warrior. The 10.25” differentially tempered 1566 steel blade of this Japanese short sword features a real hamon line, complemented by a copper habaki and seppa. The tsuka, wrapped in textured G10, securely encapsulates the tang and is dual-pinned for an unremovable, firm grip. Silver dragon menuki are embedded in the handle, while the black, textured saya is enhanced with an olive paracord sageo and polymer kurikata and kojiri, creating a sleek, durable, and functional design.
Please note: the katana, wakizashi, or tanto’s sageo (cord) on the saya (scabbard) may not be wrapped as pictured.
