After the success of ArtisanCutlery's Kinetic-Tool, they decided to introduce a CJRB model that does not skimp on material and provides excellent value to the end-user. The result, the Kinetic-Flip, retains the unique butterfly/auto action of the original with a little more interesting design.
The unsharpened "blade" of the Kinetic-Flip resembles the more dagger-esque shape of the Kinetic-Tool II. It is made from 3Cr stainless steel that has been stonewashed to reduce wear and tear while using its integrated tools. The handles are made from stainless steel and G10, the flipping action is smooth as silk, but the auto-action is a little on the slow side. It doesn't affect the design or your enjoyment in any way, it's just no a Microtech or Benchmade.
The Kinetic-Flip brings all of the uniqueness of the original, into a high-value design that makes a perfect gift. There is nothing else out there like these unique items, and if you flip them out at a party they will be the center of attention for sure.
