CN1824312HC: Gladius Neck Knife

Condor Tool & Knife

The popularity of a Gladius sword and the usefulness of a double-edged neck knife are paired together in a package that is both useful, and tactical. With the piercing double edge, this blade can function like a dagger, or boot knife, but also retains its functionality as a good knife for everyday tasks like opening up boxes or cutting rope. The overall length of the Neck Gladius Knife is 6 inches, with an even 3 inches on the blade length and the handle, in 1075 steel. A Kydex sheath with multiple eyelet points and a compact design accompanies the Neck Gladius Knife.

Might be an okay letter opener, but you'll have to sharpen yourself.
It's not good. I like Condor knives, but this one is bad. It might be okay as a $5 novelty letter opener but is garbage for $50. It had no edge on it at all. One edge was mostly straight the other was curved in towards the spine, could have been cool if it was on purpose, but it doesn't appear so. The point wasn't even very sharp.I've tried to sharpen it to make it useful, but it hasn't worked out so far.My knife is exactly like the other one star review, so it might be the product Condor put out for $50 and not just a random 1 off or QC issue.

Wow!!
After waiting months for this knife to be in stock, I ordered it as soon as I could. While waiting for my purchase, my excitement grew more and more each day. It finally arrived yesterday and all I can say is “WTF?”. This thing is garbage. The handle is okay for gripping. It is a little small for my hands. The point and grind lines are adequate. What was a let down was the edges or lack there of. I have seen sharper putty knives. Honestly I am angry at myself for buying this thing especially considering how much Condor wants for it. Maybe mine is a one-off as other Condor tools I’ve owned or examined had a nice edge and held it fairly well. Save your money and buy darn near any other blade but this one.
