CR2727: 2727 RMJ Chogan Hatchet

CRKT

The Chogan Hatchet is designed by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical to make your life easy when you're off the grid. The design for this hatchet is a sturdy and trimmed-down version of the other Chogan series. The Chogan Hatchet is made from a solid chunk of 1055 carbon steel that is hot forged into a rock-solid head and features a black phosphate finish. A blunt hammer head is useful for pounding in nails and tent stakes. The handle is made from a bright orange GRN that provides solid grip and high visibility, perfect for the outdoors.

Pros: Balance, Handle Material, Head Material

Disappointed with how dull it is but otherwise a quality item
I am happy with this overall and would buy again but this arrived absolutely dull. Walmart or Harbor freight dull. I do like the shape and substance of the head and the handle has a nice feel. Zero effort was made to sharpen this hatchet. I continue to be both pleased and disappointed by items from crkt. You never know what you are going to get. Awesome products for the money, trash or something in between. Poor quality control.
