Full hollow ground 6/8" carbon steel black oxide blade with ebony wood handles. DOVO Solingen straight razors are some of the finest razors for shaving in the world. They have a centuries-old tradition of fine metalwork and their processes for making straight razors is impeccable. The machinery they use is no longer made and so they have to keep producing these products "the old way." The profile of the blade has to be just right. If you remove too much material, it throws the whole grind off and the razor will never shave correctly. There are few craftsmen qualified to do the finish grinding on these blades and it is difficult for DOVO to keep up with the worldwide demand. Made in Solingen, Germany.

If your an African
I have very corse face just like sand paper. This is the perfect size for me! After getting my face ready this beautiful work of art carbon steel made shaving fun. My first shave was 12/21/21 I was scared at first and only worked my neck and hair came off nice and easy felt comfortable and confident after I was done. You need to let the blade do most of the work with stretching the skin. Take baby steps and you will be glad you bought a 6/8 size.Price is great for the value of the product 👌. After I was done I blow dried it and used mineral oil on it.Thank you
