I have shaved via every method for years (Andis T-Liner, Gilette/Harry's/etc. cartridge razors, safety razors, single-edge and double-edge shavette's, very expensive rotary electric razors and standard multi-head electric razors, and some other methods I forget). I have always wanted a good straight razor. I have previously gone the $20 - $60 route of different straight razors which all left my disappointed. All shave methods have their pros and cons but using this razor, I finally see the romance in traditional shaving. So very sharp but yet I have not cut knocked myself even once after numerous shaves. Gorgeous to hold, light enough that their is no fatigue or slip-ups and heavy enough to not make me believe I overpaid. I literally try and will my scalp and facial hair to regrow faster just so I have as many excuses to use it. I will cherish this blade for a long time!
