The Estwing Sportsmans Axe is designed for hunters, campers, and outdoorsmen who need a compact, functional hatchet made to the highest standards. Measures 12.75" overall, with a 6.5" stacked leather handle, and 3-1/8" beveled cutting edge. The small rectangular hammer on the back of the axe is 0.875" wide by 2" tall, perfectly flat for tapping in tent stakes. American forged in one piece out of genuine American steel. Each axe is made to last a lifetime and comes with an Estwing branded nylon belt sheath.

Be warned that this axe is so beautifully made,that you.,or a lucky gift recipient will NEVER actually use it! These camper's "hatchets" are still made, for almost 100 years, in the Estwing Family factory in Rockford Illinois, USA. Any sportsman will treasure this axe forever! Plan on buying another one(like I did) You will not be disappointed with ANYTHING this proud American company makes. Buy it!
