The Estwing Camper's Axe is designed for hunters, campers, and outdoorsmen who need an all-in-one axe without any added frills. Measures 17.625" overall, with a 9" rubber handle, and 4.125" beveled cutting edge. The rectangular hammer on the back of the axe is 1" wide by 1.75" tall, perfectly designed for tapping in tent stakes. American forged in one piece out of genuine American steel. Comes with a blue nylon sheath.

Warning this is often a knockoff elsewhere

Terrific axe, with great edge retention, functional sheath, good balance and can also be used as a throwing axe. Love limbing with this. Beware of substandard knockoffs with slightly different dimensions. Buy from reputable and authorized dealers or be disappointed.

A limb devouring machine

The fit is superb but the finish is a bit meh. Some uneven lines here and there but nothing effecting function.2 minutes with the course side of one of those cheap Walmart diamond plates from the camping section and I swear to you I dropped and processed a 3 trunk, 20 foot south Texas cedar into 18" chunks without needing sharpened. This thing digs very deep. Look I shinned myself with it, got 4 stitches and I still five it 5 stars.
