The Fred Perrin La Griffe Shark friction folding neck knife is roughly the same size and design as the classic Emerson La Griffe but transformed into a folding knife. The neck knife features a 440C stainless steel  Wharncliffe blade with a stonewashed finish - for both great looks and to hide wear and blade scratches - and sleek black G10 handles with a brown anodized finger ring. It's a lightweight, but strong design with a double-ground blade for easier resharpening. The blade does not lock, however the tab on the tang of the blade is secured by the users thumb to provide a solid lockup, and it's got an index finger hole for a super secure grip.
