This unique sharpener combines the best features of the GATCO ceramic GATSTIX and carbide sharpeners. Two precision ground carbide blades are positioned at the perfect pre-set angle for fast, easy sharpening of dull blades. Turn the sharpener over and there are two fine ceramic rods at a pre-set angle for polishing the final edge. The housing is polymer with rubber grip pads. Made in China.

Great pocket sharpener
Simple to use pull through sharpener. I like how compact it is. I keep it in my backpack for those caseswhen the blade starts feeling like it's losing it's edge. Just set it on a solid surface and pull the knife through each side a couple times (coarse and then fine). Little to no pressure should be required. Brings back a great edge in seconds.

Somewhat confussing
The carbide side puts a great edge on any knife I sharpen but the ceramic side is confusing as to how to use it even the directions are not very clear.

Great Sharpener For Price Extremely Easy To Use
I bought this sharpener about a year ago and am still using it on a regular basis. I have always been a knife guy but was never good at using any of the sharpening techniques with other methods. This sharpener is great for many types of knife steels. It puts a razor edge back on my swiss army knives, emersons and a very wicked edge on my esees. The key with this sharpener though is you do have to maintaing your knives with it. Meaning you cant let your blade get completely dull and expect this sharpener to get your edge back to factory sharpness. However, if you use this after a few sessions of using your knives it will put an extremely sharp edge on the blade. You don't have to use it every time your you use your knife just when you notice it starting to be a little duller than it was before. Most impressive is how it maintains my esee knives after batoning and shaving kindling with it for a couple fires I run my esee through this sharpener and the edge is back to being able to shave off my arm hair again.
