Pros: None
Cons: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality
Blades Not Good At All
I got suckered into buying one of Gerber's original Vital Big Game knives. The ones they stopped supporting with replacement blades. The original drop point blades worked very well, unit they were unavailable and those left on the market tripled in price. I tried these as they were on clearance. No fault of this seller as I took the chance. The rounded blades do not work for processing a deer. I had a lot of difficulty skinning and butchering the rest. I went through 6 blades. Gerber is usually a good company but they screwed customers with this discontinued knife and these horrible blades. I'm going to use the rest of the blades for general utility / yard work and ditch the knife when the blades run out.
