This custom Commando model is one stout, fantastic, and utterly gorgeous flipper. True to the GTC style, it features an SLT flipper mechanism is something unique you don't see on any other knife than a GTC. It's a spring-loaded tab connected to the blade that launches the blade out superbly fast as it rides on bearings of Gus' own design. The 4" drop point blade is made from CPM-154 stainless steel with an orange peel textured spine and beautiful hand polished finish. This blade shape has a lot of belly for slicing and a reinforced tip for stabbing - the best of both worlds. The handle is entirely made from a single piece of intricately milled zircu-ti and the area at the back with the milled holes is the integral backspacer. The knife features a hidden lockbar over-extender protector to ensure years of solid lockup and an integral pocket clip milled from the same piece of zircu-ti as the handle - which is a simply amazing feat. This custom Integral Commando is a full-on presentation piece that would make an excellent user if not designated for safe queen status, handmade in Riolandia, Brazil.
