A little bigger than I expected
I just received the knife. Although the length of the cutting edge is 7", as advertised, the overall length and heft of the knife are virtually the same as the 8" Miyabi Kaizen chef's knife that I already had. It is a terrific knife, though. Great balance, razor-sharp, and with an angle between the handle and the cutting edge that I find works very well.
