The MIK-05 (Medium Infantry Knife) from Halfbreed Blades, is a highly capable fixed blade knife, delivering devastating performance. Intended for use by elite military units, law enforcement, and members of the specialist security community, the MIK-05P (plain edge) incorporates outstanding handling characteristics and a host of enhanced features, essential for a tool of this genre. Designed with purpose and crafted to provide durability and toughness, the MIK-05 is also available in a partially serrated edge variant with the designation MIK-05PS.

  • Austrian-made 6mm Bohler K340 ISODUR tool steel. The entire tool is overbuilt for outstanding longevity and resilience to shock loads.

  • Hard-wearing, low friction Teflon coating mitigates glare and protects against corrosion. Available in black, dark earth, and ranger green color options.
  • Modified tanto point and blade design are optimized for piercing, prying, and slicing tasks.
  • Extra-large handguard aids control and prevents injury to the user.
  • Jimping at key points along the tang enhances handling characteristics, including forward of the handle, aiding the application of downward pressure and precise control.
  • US-made G10 handle scales are ergonomically contoured for maximum grip/control with non-gloved hands.
  • Handle scales are secured by steel torx fittings.
  • Crusher pommel ideally suited for breaking glass and other hammering tasks.
  • Lanyard slotted hole allows for paracord attachment.
  • US-made Kydex. We believe the carry system supplied with the tools is as important as the tool it protects. Each sheath is precision-molded for secure retention and easy maintenance. All MIK-05 sheaths are PALS/MOLLE compatible and come supplied with two primary attachment options including Belt & PALS/MOLLE.

Amazing knife
This is my first big knife purchase I would say this is an absolutely wonderful life pulling it out of the box it was very sharp very strong I did not use it for any batoning but regular household needs of cutting things I would say it's sharp and easily I have a wet stone I use honestly I don't regret this purchase I would definitely buy from this company again another knife it has a very good also balance to it I would say they should make the belt Molly a little bit bigger so it would be able to screw into both sides of the sheath but that's okay it's still a good accessory that works

Open the box and right away im taken back
This knife is just absolutely beautiful, stunning, powerful. I mean the list goes on. The feel in my hand is just so perfect. The full tang is so much better then rat tail style full tang knives. I have no buyers remorse with this knife. Other knives i have regretted purchasing many times. But this by far i definitely don't feel regret. To me this is equivalent to buying a gun in regards to excitement and feel of buy a gun. You know that its reliable and able to protect your life. And in times like this where price's for firearms and ammo are sky high purchasing a knife is a great alternative for self defense in regards to lethality and intimidation factor if you have to pull it out. Anyone taking one glance at this piece of steel will make anyone think twice
