The bushcrafter is an excellent knife for a lot of everyday camp-type tasks. It can be used to make fuzz sticks, process kindling, or sharpen a stick for hot dogs. It has a stout point for drilling in wood. The four-inch blade is a great length for everyday use as it is not too big or heavy to be carried on a belt.

First and foremost, Kyle designs the handles of his bushcraft knives to be extremely comfortable in your hand. The handles have an hourglass shape that fits the palm of your hand very well. When making fuzz sticks or whittling, your hands will not be as fatigued as they would be with non-contoured knives.

Through expert use of materials and techniques such as his signature spine filework along the handle, Daily imparts appreciable style to this workhorse pattern for a perfect blend of beauty and brawn. Filework is a design that is cut into the spine of the knife and filled in with epoxy. This does not affect the performance of the knife but is a unique design element you don't see on most knives.
