I respect Kershaw for their affordable options without compromise. I really like their Livewire and decided to get this one, and am very very pleased. The Alabama Damascus in tanto form has me drooling. The action feels effortless yet you feel the thwack still and you can tell it has force behind it classic of Kershaw’s other automatics. I wanted to get an OTF that wasn’t a Microtech so I went to the store torn between this and the Benchmade Autocrat and Benchmade Shootout. I dismissed the shootout because it feels like a toy that I’ll break. I loved the feel of the autocrats handle profile but when I went to fire it, the springs sang like the goats on that new Thor movie. The Kershaw was love at first sight like the autocrat, but this felt perfect through and through, so I came here where the YouTube guy works and got the knife as my first Knife Center purchase! Shipped quickly and with care, delivered safely and without delay, which makes the purchase all the more rewarding. Can’t wait until I get another itch for fresh steel to scratch! I’m going to replace the pocket clip on this thing first, it’s the only problem with this knife design by an infinite landslide, it’s like 99.99% flawless design so I’ll take it the rest of the way with a pocket clip upgrade. Stock clip can be small but it should curve out before touching down a little more and it should be deep carry.
