Kershaw and designer Matt Diskin team up for an ultra-strong OTF auto: the Livewire - Tanto. The premium CPM-MagnaCut blade features superior edge retention and opens and retracts with authority. And with a tanto blade shape, the tip is reliable and makes piercing cuts with ease. The rough stonewash finish is a perfect fit for this rugged blade shape. Speaking of stealthy, the black anodized aluminum handle is textured for a secure grip. And its curved, staircase-like button feels comfortable on the thumb for reliable deployment. In addition, this knife is a joy to carry due to its lightweight and reversible deep-carry clip. For a Livewire with even more toughness, choose the tanto version.

I was suffering from restless knife syndrome when this caught my eye. The fit, finish, and function of this blade are fantastic. Blade steel, CPM-MagnaCut need I say more? Price, shipping time and customer service from the Knife Center, what you would expect from industry professionals. Buy with confidence, the only thing that will disappoint will be the pocket clip. Come-on Kershaw!!

Kershaw Livewire: NAILED IT! (From a Premium OTF Collector)
Alright, as someone who owns quite a few premium brand OTF knives, let me tell you – Kershaw seriously nailed it with the Livewire. They got this one right, delivering a fantastic American-made OTF.This knife feels great: lightweight and well balanced. The action is super smooth and reliable, easy to deploy and retract every single time. Great design overall!The Magnacut blade comes razor sharp out of the box, and it's held up great to all my EDC tasks – boxes, packages, even tough weed eater string. The edge retention is impressive; it's still just as sharp.I've read reviews criticizing the smaller pocket clip, but my take is it functions perfectly for deep carry and doesn't snag on things. No glass breaker, but honestly, that's not a deal breaker for me.I've carried this knife daily since I got it. I've tried switching back to my other knives, but the Livewire always ends up back in my pocket.In my opinion, Kershaw truly knocked it out of the park here. For the price, it has probably the best value you'll find in a premium American-made OTF. Highly impressed!
