The flipping action is smooth and easy thanks to the ball bearings in the pivot – a simple flick of the finger sends the blade springing open rendering it ready for quick use in all situations. The non-reversible deep carry pocket clip is made of black titanium and set up for tip-up right carry. The Cassowary sits in the pocket like a dream. The blade features a flat grind, but Kansept has managed to make it so thin before the edge that it almost slices like a hollow ground knife, allowing long, tough cuts to be done with ease. This model features an acid-etched Damascus blade and black titanium handles with green Micarta inlays.
