KZRKK0064: Impulse Throwing Knife

Kizlyar Supreme Knives

The Kizlyar Supreme Throwing Knives were developed and improved to their highest potential over the years by the fathers of the Russian knife throwing school, the most prominent are still grandmaster V.S. Kovrov, who is their original designer. Nothing is insignificant here: grip features and control of the knife, weight, surface finish, heat-treatment, proportions, aerodynamical properties - all these make a genuine throwing knife different from a standard knife. Professional throwing knives do not have thin parts or edges like standard knives have because they break very fast. In addition to this, the throwing knives are hardened at around 42-45HRC to guarantee they will not break after years of throwing.

The Impulse Throwing Knife is ideal for beginners trying to learn the art of knife throwing. With a length of 10.5" and a weight of 12.5 oz., the Impulse is a hard hitting knife but easy throwing knife. With a perfect center balance of 5.25" from the tip the knife is easily thrown from the blade or handle.

Heavy, fun to throw. Great quality
This knife is so much fun to throw. Beware that it is heavy. The heaviest of my knives in this size range but I happen to really enjoy that. I especially like the knife when i’m Working on distance and no-spin throwing with a finger slide technique. I’ve only been at this for a few months so don’t be shy, even as a beginner. Quality is fantastic. I can’t imagine this knife will ever break. Works well for half spin as well. I don’t practice spin throws but did try it and it seemed fairly easy. Definitely one of my favorites. Blade sharpness is perfect for a competition throwing knife meaning the tip is sharp but the blade is not. Does not come with a sheath. Not sure why I would want one but it doesn’t.
