The Thrill is an incredible knife from LionSteel in more ways than one. It is the first integral handle slipjoint knife that we know of manufactured anywhere in the world and it might just be the perfect EDC knife. Its "no locks" mechanism is built from a single piece of material completely obtained by milling using SOLID LionSteel technology found on many of their other designs. The blade is made out of Chad Nichols Stainless Scrambled Damascus with a dark acid-etched finish, nail nick, and half-stop safety. The spring tip of the handle is reinforced with a treated stainless steel insert to ensure solid lockup while it's very well-executed and just appears to be another bit of jimping. This knife features the patented LionSteel HWAYL system that allows you to "hide" the clip inside the handle, so it can be used at the owner's discretion. It is possibly the strongest and most innovative slipjoint knife ever created and we look forward to hearing what you think about it.

About the Designer Molletta - Pensato Michele

Michele Pensato - aka 'molletta', his nickname in Italian - is a very active designer with years of experience. His previous life as an excursion lover and a passion for archaeology had him spending most of his experiences in the great outdoors, where he soon got to understand how a great knife should really be and what it should be capable of achieving. He led the Nexus Production Group and the group that was created at the MCKF forum. A keen student of the steel industry, he stands out for his new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in thermal treatment applications. An advanced user of design software such as Catia, SOLIDWORKS and Inventor, he applies FEA simulations to his design and aims to create solid and innovative products.
