Straight stone.
But mine sits in an uneven base that rocks between two of the opposing corners. I still use it often.

Lansky Benchstone
Used for sharpening kitchen knives. Works well for finishing the knives after a sharpening on the coarse stones. I’m hoping to use this and a soft stone to keep the edges on the knives instead of always starting with the coarse or medium stones which remove much more metal. Down side is this stone is quite a bit softer than my Buck Arkansas stones (smaller stones used for pocket knives). Also, since I’m using this on big knives a 8 inch version would have been real nice.

Fine as they come
I got this stone to put a final edge on my outdoors knives, it does that excellent, and when combined with a little practice will give a perfect cutting edge that will last a long time on a good piece of steel. Very nice benchstone that will last a long time
