Here is one from the vaults! L.T. Wright is proud to reintroduce the Trekker, a knife that he hasn’t made since before his Blind Horse Knives days. We are glad this design has seen the light of day yet again; it is equal parts camping, hiking, woodcraft and hunting blade, all rolled into one capable package. Handcrafted in the USA, the Trekker will quickly become your go-to blade when you head outdoors.

The 4.75” drop point blade offers plenty of length with a flat grind providing the versatility you need in the field. There is enough belly for efficient slicing and skinning, and the centerline point means it still works well for bushcraft tasks such as drilling and notching.

AEB-L stainless steel provides fantastic toughness and edge stability, holding a great edge without much effort required to resharpen. At 1/8” thick it provides the perfect balance between cutting power and hard-use durability, and a 90-degree spine enables it to be used for scraping or as a striker for a ferro rod.

The contoured handle on the Trekker is shaped by hand to remove any hot-spots and provide hours of comfort under hard use. The front part of the scales next to the blade are designed to create a “shelf” for your thumb to wrap around when choking up on the blade. The scales are riveted to the tang with Loveless-style “Fisheye” bolts in addition to high-strength epoxy, granting durability that will last a lifetime.

The knife would not be complete without a sheath, and the included JRE Industries leather sheath makes it easy to carry the Trekker. Retention is good, and there is a ⅜” diameter leather loop on the side to facilitate easy carry of a firesteel. Additional rivets allow versatile lashing options. The sheath can be used with the included dangler attachment for drop leg carry. If you prefer your knife to carry higher on the belt, you can remove the dangler, or simply fold it underneath and out of the way.
