Maserin

The Mantis axe was designed by Alessandro Olivetto, winner of the Blade Show 2021 for the Most Innovative Import Design with the Maserin knife art. 214 D-Dut. This axe is suitable for bushcraft, it can be used with the hand near the blade to do carving work, or on the final part of the handle to cut even large branches. Lightweight but sturdy suitable for a thousand occasions and with the Kydex sheath it is easy and quick to extract. The Mantis is made from a nearly 0.25" thick piece of D2 steel with a stonewash finish that is perfect for regular use. Two sets of G10 scales are fastened to the axe to allow for heavier chopping or choked up for the detail work.
