NO24450: Single Grit Waterstone 8000

Norton

Waterstones are synthetic stones designed to be softer than oil stones. These softer grade stones are used with water as the lubricant (versus oil) to develop a fast cutting slurry. The Norton Waterstone system was designed in a carefully planned sequence to create sharpening efficiency. You get the level of abrasiveness you need at each stage, without wasting time trying to sharpen your tools on a grit that is too fine, too soon. Uses water as a lubricant and flushing agent. Easier to clean than oilstones. Won't leave an oil residue. Ideal for sharpening woodworking tools, knives, cutlery, and other blades. Includes blue plastic storage box.

I'm wondering there is no review about Norton 8000 waterstone. It's considered to be one of the best stones in 8000 synthetic stone class. It's very soft waterstone and it can be used also with oil and 12 000+ polishing paste or compound to bring exeptional sharpness on a premium class steel. It is very good stone, it's worth each dollar and one of the best stones in it's class.
