Ontario Knives

The SPL (Sport Leisure) Dive Knife is an innovative offering from Ontario Knife Company that starts at the blade's shape and keeps delivering all the way into the design of the sheath. From the blunted, chisel, or pry-bar style tip to help avoid unwanted punctures, to the actual blade material which is made of premium CPM-Magnacut stainless steel. The SPL series repels corrosion in extremely harsh conditions thanks to the choice of MagnaCut and G10 handle scales on top of a full tang construction. The sheath is designed to snap-lock onto the depression in the hilt of the handle for maximum sheath retention, belt loops are molded in for multiple configuration choices when attaching.

I used this for a variety of land and water based activities; it has a decent weight and very comfortable to wield. Fantastic retention on the sheath.

Good knife at good price.
This is a nice Knife. Finish decent, fit good, edge is very nice.Solid, built as its intended as a dive type knife profile.Looking around its one of the more affordable Magna Cut fix blades with a saberish grind and a real full tang.Yes its not like its counter part with a pointy tip. I got this model as it was also magna cut and for its fix blade multi-tool capability. It can pry, cut and cut and clean fish pretty well. Its handy to have when snorkeling along with a REAL KNIFE I carry along. This fits the small tasks one needs to do under water.

Great USA knife
Solid slab of MagnaCut knife, not just for divers!Blunt tip is great for prying duty. Great “out of the box” sharpness with nice serration and handy jimping for a solid purchase. Handle scales are secured with flush hardware making replacement or customization a snap. The positive retention sheath operates intuitively.
