Description
PF818OW: PF818 Forward Flipper Knife - Orange G10
Petrified Fish
The Forward is a mid-size flipper with a snappy opening and a comfortable grip. The drop point blade is made from reliable and sturdy D2 steel that provides excellent performance for a budget price. The blade deploys smoothly with the flipper tab thanks to riding on ball bearings in the pivot and locks up via a liner lock. The handle of the Forward comes in several colors of sculpted G10 that give a stable, weather-resistant grip or carbon fiber for an extra touch of class. The Forward comes with a stainless steel pocket clip and falls firmly into an EDC option for whatever you get into.

Extremely Good Value!
I cannot believe how good this knife is for just $25!! D2 steel is something you gotta take care of because it will want to rust inside a sweaty pocket. But it's nicely "stonewashed" to keep those pesky little rust spots hidden if you don't take care of it. G10 scales, steel liner, stainless steel hardware, a G10 back spacer, a pocket clip signed by David Chen and a ball bearing pivot all make this value-priced knife punch WAY over its weight class. Jimping is decently aggressive but the blade has minimal choil to allow for a longer cutting surface. The blade itself is substantial with a cool contoured cut to it that gives it another dimension of character. Fit and finish are excellent, and the blade came to me very sharp and perfectly centered. I've seen other manufacturers charge at least twice, if not more for their offerings that are made from the same materials but not the same degree of workmanship this knife has out of the box. Two thumbs up!
