The best feature of the Bunta is the wide sheepsfoot blade made from reliable D2 tool steel. The large belly and rounded tip of the blade make it a good choice for a variety of tasks that you might encounter every day. The blade rides on a ball bearing construction and can be deployed either by the flipper tab or thumb hole and the action is smooth. The hefty G10 handles are smooth but grippy with a comfortable weight that feels good to wield. The Bunta comes with a stainless steel pocket clip that can be set up for either right or left carry. Great Knife
I use this as an EDC knife and the blade shape, steel and handle are perfect. Great fit and finish overall. I love that it has a deep carry clip but I had it snap off once because I brushed up against a door and it caught the lip at just the right angle and sapped the clip off. I contacted the company and they mailed me a new one for about five dollars. Great customer service! I have larger hands and the handle fits great and is sturdy. This is my favorite blade shape as it allows me to have more control over my work without having to be cautious of a spear tip trailing behind. I like having the curved belly of the blade for cutting. I did get another knife from PF that does have a spear tip and is just as nice in quality but I keep coming back to this one.
