ESEE Knives

Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of their knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. The knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored the 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to knives, ESEE also offers survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information. 

This is the model that started it all. After designing the RAT-3 for Ontario Knife Company, it was the first design they brought over when ESEE Knives (Formerly RAT Cutlery) was formed. These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH. The ESEE-3 is still a favorite amongst law enforcement and military teams due to its light weight, thin profile and various sheath options.

ESEE 3MIL for duty belt.
I recently received an ESEE 3MIL to use on my duty belt. As a rural, mountain deputy I have need for a utility knife on occasion and like to have a fixed blade for other purposes should the need arise.The ESEE 3MIL meets all my requirements-It carries high on the belt, is easily accessed, very sharp and is exactly what I need. I have carried other fixed blades in the past and all the others were "sort-of" acceptable. This knife is the one.

Back In Black !!!
I mean seriously who doesn't like Black on Black !!! I was hesitant at first being G 10 handles. I would have preferred black micarta. But no worries here mate. The G10 feels amazing. They did a really good job with the feel of the G10. It honestly almost feels like canvas micarta. I LOVE my UC 4. But this is a different beast. I wanted a stealthy version , and I got it. The 3 Mil is slim but sturdy and you can just whip it around. Even with it's minimal size and weight I feel the strength of this knife truly is Self Defense. I am ordering the 6 clip point , partial serrations with the whole kit and kaboodle ( Molle back and accessory pouch ) all in matching OD. Is gonna look tight , tight on my Maxpedution pack. Lastly what I like most is with the 3 Mil , Uncoated 4 and aforementioned 6 , though similar , each knife is uniquely it's own. Now , IF THERE WAS ONLY A JUNGLE AROUND HERE. I guess the Ol' Appalachian Trail will have to do. Blue Ridge Mountains here I come , let the fun begin. Chop Chop.
