ESEE Knives

Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of their knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. The knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored the 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to knives, ESEE also offers survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information.

The ESEE-5 was designed by military SERE instructors as a hard-use downed pilot's survival knife. With its 0.25" blade thickness, it's a big fixed blade that's tough, durable and practical. These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH. The 3D machined G10 handles give this knife an improved ergonomic grip over the slab Micarta scales. The knife also features spine jimping, full tang construction, lanyard hole, and a glass breaker. The knife comes with a Kydex sheath, clip plate, paracord lanyard, and cord lock.

This knife isn't just a knife. It's a lifestyle. It's a prybar with identity issues. It's the kind of blade that, if it had legs, would wear combat boots to bed and chew gravel for breakfast.The ESEE 5 is so thick it doesn't cut wood--it shames it into splitting. I baton with this thing through entire logs and feel like I'm forging a path through Middle Earth. I used it to pry open a stuck car door. I may or may not have reinforced a retaining wall with it. I definitely used it to settle a debate over whether a man could fistfight a bear.You don't carry this knife because you need it. You carry it because one day, the universe might try you--and you want to be ready.Final thoughts: probably illegal in several galaxies.
