For enhanced reliability in demanding outdoor or tactical scenarios, it features a "Thumb Up" safety lock that provides a secure blade lock, reducing the risk of accidental closure and improving overall safety. The blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, known for its exceptional edge sharpness, stability, and corrosion resistance. This steel is further processed by Ruike with quenching and cryogenic treatment, achieving a hardness of 58-60 HRC for superior performance.

The P851 pocket knife also boasts a durable G10 handle, composed of fiberglass and resin, which resists intense forces and prevents abrasion. The knife’s smooth operation is ensured by thrust roller bearings and a roller bearing washer, which are made from high-carbon chromium steel and offer excellent hardness, wear resistance, and durability. These features collectively make the P851 a reliable and effective pocketknife tool for challenging conditions.
