RMJ Tactical
Affectionately named Snuggles, this modern War Hammer Breaching Tool embodies the mantra: one tool, many tasks. Snuggles combines bad-ass looks with formidable capability in a compact, purpose-driven package. Designed with a close-quarters battle (CQB) length of 18", it excels in tight spaces where longer tools may fall short. Ideally suited for patrol cars or emergency vehicles, it delivers quick-action breaching performance for doors or windows.
The large 8.625" head features a meat tenderizer-style end with a tapered beard, while the tail end houses a 3.75" distal taper spike for puncturing. The head is assembled with two cheeks, bolted on using three hardened 4140 chrome moly bolts - each with a tensile strength of 120,000 pounds per square inch. These components are mounted in double shear, requiring a 50-ton press to shear. Repeated impacts have little effect - Snuggles is extremely overbuilt for a handheld tool.
This limited edition run uses USA-made S7 Tool Steel, prized for its exceptional shock-absorbing properties, impact resistance, wear resistance, high strength, and toughness. S7 is the material of choice for high-impact tools like riveters, punches, chisels, moil-point concrete breakers, and forging dies.
