The Gslip was the first slipjoint design collaboration between Ostap Hel and Real Steel. Like the G5 Metamorph, the Gslip is a tour de force in design and aesthetic application. However, as an improvement on the G5 Metamorph, Ostap has upped the design appeal with an oversized pivot screw and a well-designed blade profile. Now, it's available in a smaller compact model that would make a great money clip knife in attrition to a stellar everyday carry.

Diametrically opposed to traditional slipjoints, and like many of Ostap's designs, the Gslip Compact takes functional and timeless structures and gives them a modern overcoat. Instead of a full steel pocket clip, Real Steel opted again for a deep carry wire clip, that not only gives further points for style but allows the knife to be carried in a discreet and smart manner. Finished with a seldom-seen VG10 blade the Gslip Compact takes a nice step up from its bigger brother in the G5 Metamorph.
