SOG Knives

When every piece of gear needs to be carefully considered for the outdoors, Kiku XR LTE frees up precious weight while being no less capable. With a 25% lighter build, the muscular Kiku XR LTE delivers a statement of strength and nimbleness. The handles are made from linen Micarta, and with carbon fiber liners and spacers that minimize weight, Kiku easily fits in for any outdoor excursion. This large-format folder is built around SOG's ultra-strong XR locking mechanism, while the CTS XHP steel blade offers a high degree of corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention.

At just 4.1 ounces, Kiku XR LTE is a lightweight folder designed for all the challenges of the outdoors. Fully ambidextrous, with a reversible pocket clip, it is equipped with SOG's strong XR locking mechanism and premium XHP steel. The LTE series swaps metallic liners for carbon fiber. Just as durable, but far lighter and easier to manipulate and carry.

Fantastic folder!! Thinking of getting a 2nd one.
I bought it as an EDC knife. I'm very partial to SOG Kiku line. (I own over 4 of the line's previous products.)This knife looks slightly bulky, but actually vanishes in my hands (large-ish for a Taiwanese.) It is actually a lot lighter (in weight) than it looks, and the lock works perfectly. Flips open smoothly too.Very impressed with the quality, and boy is that blade sharp out-of-the-box.

Excellent Design
I liked virtually liked every aspect of this knife, so much so that I purchased even the regular Stainless steel version which is not to much different buy a bit heavier if that’s what you like. This knife is part of my EDC even if I’m carrying another knife I’m also carrying my beloved SOG Kiku as a back up.My only criticism is that I think the SOG knives could be a bit sharper out of the box, could be a result of the Multi grinds. You will be very pleased with this great collaboration.
