Excellent evolution
This came razor sharp out of the box. First bearing and flipper knife I've had, but what a great and smooth action it has. CTS XHP is a great steel, I've had Cold Steel Recon 1's in this steel, which is great for holding an edge, but doesn't chip like some of the newer 'designer' steels.G10 slab handles are very well shaped and comfortable, but the pocket clip can be a little pokey at times. The clip itself is good, holds the knife securely, but a better, smoother shape would be more comfortable.I've had no issues with the lock in over a year's use.Great knife for the price, and a superb evolution of the SOG Vision.

Defective lock
I may have gotten a defective one - 1) does not come sharp 2) the locking mechanism sticks terrible 3) I didn't pay the full amount and caught a holiday price, but I think it is over priced. I would buy a hogue or benchmade instead. Dissapointed. I knew better than to purchase SOG, I never liked there knives pre-xr lock that is, they make cheap knives.
