The knife features contoured anodized aluminum handles with textured GRN inserts for comfort and grip, a proven lockback mechanism for failsafe blade lockup, and a quick assisted, bead blasted 7Cr15 stainless steel blade. The blade is accessed via SAT (SOG Assisted Technology) so that a simple push on the thumb stud will propel the blade out and locked in the open position ready for duty. By holding the Sideswipe in your hand, you'll feel its build quality and robustness. Equipped with a reversible low-carry pocket clip, the Sideswipe makes a great EDC no matter what you need it for.

Good overall

i will admit i abuse my folding knives. they seem to all last me between 1 and 2 years. this knife seems to be a little heavier built than some of the knives i have owned. the things i would change on the knife are first and foremost shorter thumb studs. second there is not enough assist to fully deploy the blade. finally i would like a some sort of positive hold on the deployment lock, or removal of the deployment lock. It seems to move when it is in my pocket and i have to find it while

Perfect!

I am not into knifes so I wasn't sure what I was looking for. I wanted to surprise my fiance with something and he loves knifes. My fiance uses this knife daily and he loves the clip and the lock.
