Poor Quality
Save your 50 dollars for a better quality knife. Fit and finish on the Spitfire are bad. The body screws have to be lose with visible gaps between the scales and bar in order to open the blade. I oiled it, worked it several hundreds times, disassembled it and sanded then polished all the rough parts until it was very smooth, but it still won't open easily with one hand. I like to buy American and support American knifes makers, but I would not buy this Buck again at any price. It's quality is just too bad. If you want a good American knife, buy a Hogue, Spyderco or Demko. Sure, they cost more, but they actually work.

Really solid knife
Picked this up a few months ago. Razor sharp out of the box and the lock-up couldn't be more sold. Feels great in the hand too.Negatives are there are rough edges all around. Easy enough to file but something you will have to do on your own.Easy to open with one hand, but definitely not something to be "flicked-open."
