Haven't had any notable complaints about this product, it is easy to sharpen, note I only use freehand and not the "sharpmaker." It's course enough to shave off steel, but it's fine enough that it will put a very good edge on the blade. Even if you don't get anything else, you can use this to touch up the blade on your spare time. If you need to reprofile something, then you will need something more course, but otherwise this will do just fine, especially for smaller blades.
