Simple, excellent!
Wow, what a simple, ergonomic design! It's a carbon steel and comes with knife grease on the blade...and it's extremely sharp. Pivot screw, handle screw at the bottom, and blade stop in the handle. That's it! Svord could easily make this an integral, but then you couldn't easily clean the handle's interior. I'm surprised how ergonomic this is. The handle scale edges are rounded to make this feel like a fixed blade in hand. If you want a super simple knife with a very sharp blade, pick this one up!

Knife perfection
I have, and have used almost every knife known to man. The 3' blade peasant is my go to because it's always in my pocket and always will be. It's the most versatile and user-friendly knife in the world. I've got 7 of them... and will buy more! The peasant is perfect for all Bushcraft, work, play, and self defense if you know what you're doing. While teaching martial arts, knife defense my peasant is used. Even made multiple skydives with it in a specially designed sheath I made. Buy one or two or 20 you'll be glad you did!

Truly Enjoyable
This knife helped me remember what knives are all about. Quality is better than the price reflects. Practicality and usefulness are yet to be put to a hard test but so far, great knife.
