Fallkniven

The Fallkniven Gentleman's Pocket Knife (GPs) is made of Laminated Cobalt Steel, or Lam. CoS, and with a handle of genuine stag.

The GPs is a traditional, slightly old-fashioned pocket knife but if you look at it closely you will find nothing but modern materials and hi-tech solutions. Fallkniven asked some professional hunters to look at a handmade sample of the GP, and their response was, "this is how a folding knife for hunting purposes should look like!"

Other benefits include the reliable blade lock. A properly built liner lock system is, in Fallkniven's opinion, the world's strongest blade lock while still being easy to use. This technical solution also means that the knife is easy to clean. Simply rinse the knife under running warm water and let it dry. The blade joint does not require lubrication. Oil and grease rather attract dust and dirt and this will increase rather than reduce wear. The shackle at the end of the handle allows you to tie the knife – you wouldn't like to lose this beauty!

Love it!
This is my first Fallkniven knife. The last thing I needed before I even bought this was another knife, but I'm definitely tempted to get another Fallkniven. It's that nice.I like everything about this knife. I'm very picky about sharpness, and this blade was plenty sharp right out of the box. The blade shape is great for slicing. The knife feels good in my hand. All of the surfaces are nicely finished. The blade is perfectly centered when the knife is closed. The action works smoothly opening and closing, although I do wonder why (for those of us with old, crumbly thumbnails) the nail nick doesn't extend all the way back over the notch. I can still open the knife easily enough, but it would be even easier if I could completely pinch the nail nick between my thumb and finger. A minor complaint, and not enough to deduct a point for.I'm very glad I bought it.
