SZAKNI00401000: SWIZA D04 Swiss Pocket Knife, Red

SWIZA

It's been over 100 years since any meaningful design evolution has happened to the world renowned Swiss Knife. The SWIZA Pocket Knife is a revolutionary and disruptive next generation of the ageless and classic staple in every active person's must-have tool kit.

The easy curved shape and soft, but tactile grip finish of the SWIZA Pocket Knife handle makes it much more comfortable to hold, work with and makes it truly unique to all other Swiss Knives. As you would expect, it comes with multiple tool options in one (6 function) or two (11 function) lines all made from premium, extra-solid stainless steel including a Phillips screwdriver and, a longer, stronger blade with a finger grip slot for easy left or right opening...all significant improvements on previous Swiss Knives.

The Swiss Knife (SWIZA D04) with its revolutionary shape and sure-grip, soft-touch handle is the most comfortable and easy to use Swiss Knife ever. The ergonomically curved shape of the knife allows the tools to be more easily accessible and the die-cut slots make them easy to open with either the left or right hand.

Traveler's EDC
I've had this knife for several months now and am well pleased with it.The blade steel is a significant up grade over Victorinox and it locks. It holds an edge better is less expensive and lets face it when you need a phillips screwdriver that's what you need. Even the tweezers are more precision ground. No tooth pick... well whittle one then! The scales are grippy and they do tend to get soiled a little alcohol vodka or scotch works fixes that though. A traveler. Today's world having blade length restrictions the knife fits in almost anywhere TSA didn't bat an eye. The awl is dubious in that function but works fine cutting out articles in magazines or papers. I touched up the slotted head screw driver but won't down rate it for that. Swiza doesn't have hundreds of models but this one has a selection that takes care of most mundane tasks without arousing undue attention. I traveled on a tour in China and used it a lot. accompanied by a small DMT fine stone it stayed sharp and my group was always wanting to borrow it to :Clip threads, tighten screws on suitcases, etc. I would prefer a scissors to a can opener just a quibble though This is a high quality little knife suitable for travel and around the office. I chose red as that's the typical color of Swiss army knives and it didn't once arouse any official attention. .
