Ultra-Detectable Plastic

Tactile Turn first came across Tecaform AH UD Blue at SHOT Show 2023 and immediately knew it was something they wanted to try so their friends at Boedeker Plastics in Shiner, TX worked with them to cut down a sheet into ground rods. Tecaform is an acetal copolymer (plastic) specifically designed for the food service industry as it can be detected with X-ray, metal detection, or optical scanners due to the metal flakes found throughout. This pen features a deep blue color with a glittery appearance, oversized diameter like the Ultem pens, polished clip, and bolt carrier, and the signature texture running the full length. Try not to lose it.

Different strokes for different folks

Choose from 2 different lengths – standard and short. Both pen sizes fit well in almost all hands although, if you wear big gloves, you might be more comfortable with the standard, 5.6" model which comes with a 0.7 mm Pilot G2 ink refill. The short, 5.1" model comes with a Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 refill and tends to fit better in shirt pockets without sticking out.
