Toor Knives

The Darter Tanto in Shadow Black is the latest product in Toor's groundbreaking collaboration with Haley Strategic Partners! The alliance between the two brands began in 2020 and combines Travis Haley's tactical expertise with Toor Knives' premium bladesmithing capabilities.

This blade is a natural evolution of the original Standard variant and provides operators with another mission-ready option for their kits. Made from the highest quality CPM-M4 super tool steel, the Darter Tanto is a premium, versatile blade that can withstand heavy use and piercing tasks, making it ideal for tactical situations where knife reliability is crucial.

Highlights of The Darter Tanto include the now iconic reverse serrations on the spine, which offer an extremely sharp solution to fighting with the back of the knife. Additionally, the tanto blade shape provides strength and durability, and the sharp, angular tip is excellent for piercing through tough materials. Its Black G10 handle with Red liner is machined with a texture to match the iconic Haley Strategic dragonfly wing pattern, while also offering excellent grip when wet.

Lastly, a retention lanyard hole, thumb jimping on the spine and butt end of the blade, stainless steel Torx handle screws, Black KG GunKote spray finish, and both companies' logos laser engraved on the blade helps ensure that The Darter Tanto Shadow Black not only looks good but that it's strong enough to tackle any task.

The Darter Tanto Shadow Black includes a Black Toor Knives Kydex sheath with a retention adjustability screw and friction offset to reduce blade rattle inside the sheath. Included with the sheath is all mounting hardware as well as an UltiClip Slim 3.3 mount.

Exceeded my expectations
I'm no expert but have some training and 20yrs as a combat medic in the Army. I have owned many different knives. Some better examples are Randall, Emerson, Chris Reeve, Spyderco etc. All Fixed blade. The Toor packaging is first class but pales compared to the knife. It's not pretty but this knife is for me the "Goldilocks" of knives. Not too big. Not too small. Not too heavy. Not too light. Just right. The sheath is a work of art and completes the package. The only thing I did was swap the Ulticlip it comes with for something I like more. I highly recommend. My opinion and a nickel will get you whatever a nickel will get you.
